SmartThings troubleshooting

If the Sengled Elements Classic bulb goes offline and needs resetting, follow these steps:

  1. In SmartThings, add device (+)
  2. Search for Sengled (by brand)
  3. Pick lighting
  4. Pick Sengled (not Wi-Fi bulbs or not certified by Canada)
  5. Tap Start
  6. Select a location and tap next
  7. Skip QR verification
  8. When it gets to "Install and power on light" transfer to the physical bulb
  9. Starting in the on position, turn the bulb off and on 10 times
  10. Try to keep a steady pattern
  11. If successful it should begin to pulse
  12. Be patient and give the app some time to pick up the bulb, it's not very quick but not incredibly slow either
